PVinMotion is the world’s first scientific conference dedicated to vehicle-integrated photovoltaics.

True to this year’s motto – “Solutions for Vehicle Integration” – the conference brings together renowned experts from the worlds of science and industry to showcase their innovative work among friends, colleagues and the global PV community.

Our pronounced aim is to explore cutting-edge technologies and frameworks of integrating PV into different vehicles and together take advantage of the current, unprecedented momentum in both VIPV research and application.

To this end, PVinMotion provides a seminal platform for scientists and researchers in PV and materials, vehicle manufacturers, module producers, electronics and materials suppliers, consultants, advisers and designers to meet, to network and to exchange ideas.

The first PVinMotion will take place from December 6-8, 2021 as a virtual event and will be hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg, Germany. For the 2021 conference, cars and trucks are in focus but there will of course also be ample time and opportunity to discuss further applications such as boats, airplanes or trains as well.
