This talk will focus on recent results from a project to develop and implement improved numerical solvers. The project goal is to enable extended-term simulations (15+ minutes) to study the impact on the grid of slow dynamics, e.g., automatic generation control, and fast dynamics, e.g., inverter-based renewable generation.
