DESCRIPTION:Stewarding Our Soils: A Hands-on Watershed Health Workshop: Saturday\, July 25\, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \nJoin Mountain Cloud Zen Center\, Santa Fe Watershed Association\, and Southwest Urban Hydrology for an educational\, experiential workshop. Aaron Kauffman from Southwest Urban Hydrology will provide an accessible introduction to hydrology\, soil health\, and erosion mitigation. We’ll then take our learning outside to build structures such as one-rock dams and media lunas\, mulch bare patches of land\, and sow native grass seeds to help catch sediment\, retain moisture\, and stabilize the soil for years to come.
