The Santa Fe Watershed Association (SFWA) is excited to announce that we are rebranding and growing our quintessential Adopt-the-River and Adopt-an-Arroyo programs into the singular umbrella, “Adopt Your Watershed.” We believe this will help us further strengthen our holistic, watershed-wide approach to community care. To celebrate all the accomplishments of the Adopt-the-River and Adopt-an-Arroyo programs, to continue the legacy of what would have been the 18th Love Your River Day, and to help transition to Adopt Your Watershed, we are hosting “Love Your Watershed Day” on Saturday, May 6, 2023. In celebration of spring, in the spirit of las limpias, and in preparation for the City’s spring Living River pulse and San Ysidro Blessing Day (May 15), SFWA will encourage, support, and celebrate stewardship efforts throughout the watershed.
