Wells Fargo Bank will be making important corporate decisions about their funding of the Line 3 during the week of July 19.

Join the demonstrations on July 19 at the main branch of Wells Fargo in Albuquerque and at the Los Lunas branch. Demand that the bank end financing of fossil fuel projects including construction of Line 3.

Description: The Line 3 so-called “replacement” project is a new pipeline that would run more than 1,000 miles from Hardisty, Alberta through treaty-protected lands of northern Minnesota to Superior, Wisconsin. Line 3 is designed to transport an average of 760,000 barrels of tar sands crude oil from Alberta each day, with a capacity of 844,000 barrels per day.

Despite ongoing legal challenges from the Red Lake Nation, the White Earth Band of Ojibwe, and Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, Minnesota’s own Department of Commerce, environmental organizations, and 13 brave youth intervenors, construction on Line 3 continues.
