In this session, we will look at our own responsibilities for our environment by discussing “The Inflation Reduction Act, a Win for You and a Win for the Environment.” The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was miraculously passed and signed into law in August 2022 and it’s already making a difference for the environment.

Our guest presenter, Terry Owen, will describe why the IRA was a win for climate and how it can be a financial win for you. He’ll discuss how it came about, why it’s vital for the climate, as well as provide you with information on how you can save money by taking advantage of various tax credits and rebates in 2024 and beyond. Attendees will also receive a fact sheet with additional references and information about the IRA.
