Who: Daniel Tso, Dine´ activist and past chapter delegate to the Navajo Tribal Council.

Where: meet at the Counselor Chapter House, Counselor, NM on Navajo Nation tribal land via carpooling from Albuquerque and Bernalillo.

When: 9:30am, July 27, 2024. Carpools will leave the Albuquerque area at 7:45 am and from the RailRunner parking lot at NM 599 around 7:30 am.

Description: Please join 350NM to tour fracking sites in northwestern NM. Daniel Tso will lead a tour of several fracking sites near Counselor, NM and Chaco Canyon, about two hours NW of Albuquerque on St Hwy. 550. Learn firsthand why fracking is so harmful to communities, water, air, health and our climate.

This is an all day event. Wear shoes & clothing suitable for a hike.

Space is limited so please register for the fracking tour by emailing to tour@350newmexico.org. Please indicate where you will leaving for the tour from and if you are willing to drive carpool to Counselor. Gas money will be available for carpoolers.

Registrants will receive additional information closer to the tour date.
