The Oil Conservation Commission public rule making hearings will be held via Webex beginning on January 4 and then daily as needed through January 8 and then again from January 11 – 15. The meeting can be accessed by using their meeting and link information. They anticipate the hearing will continue into the second week.

The following items are up for discussion and possible action:

• Case No. 21528: (A) Public rule-making hearing under 19.15.3 NMAC on the application of the
  New Mexico Oil Conservation Division to consider proposed rules to regulate the venting and
  flaring of natural gas from oil and natural gas production and gathering facilities; (B) Deliberation
  and possible action on proposed rule changes.
