UCS: Science Rising National Call
Here’s what we know: Science is powerful. Facts and evidence are essential for holding our elected leaders accountable. And every one of us has the ability to take action to protect science and democracy from the ongoing attacks of the Trump administration.
Over the past year and a half, the Trump administration’s anti-science and authoritarian actions have caused direct harm to people and communities across the country and gravely undermined our democracy. These actions are not only dangerous, but they are also part of a deliberate effort to govern without evidence, accountability, or meaningful public oversight. We can—and must—stop this.
Science supporters like you have a crucial role to play in pushing back against these attacks. And no matter who you are, where you sit, or what your personal tolerance for risk might be, there is something you can do.
Learn how you can help protect science and democracy: join the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) for the next Science Rising national call as we continue mobilizing science advocates to speak out and counter the Trump administration’s anti-science and authoritarian actions, while laying the foundation for reimagining federal science policy for the public good.
