
Statewide virtual community conversations to help shape New Mexico’s Climate Action Plan

The New Mexico Environment Department and New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department invite you to dive into the details and share your ideas for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the sectors covered in New Mexico’s Climate Action Plan.
Please register to attend a community conversation about one or more of the sector(s) that matter to you. All meetings will be held from 5:30-7:30PM.
5/13: Electricity Sector
5/15: Industry Sector
5/27: Transportation Sector
5/29: Agriculture, Forests, and Wilderness Sector
6/3: Buildings Sector/ Waste and Materials Sector
The Climate Action Plan will provide an actionable roadmap for New Mexico to meet its climate pollution reduction targets. These targets are essential to ensure a healthy, secure, and prosperous future for all New Mexicans. These community conversations will help State staff incorporate priorities and ideas from New Mexicans to strengthen planning.
